Hi all,

So this evening after a few days of being ill frown I felt better so I decided to go out for a drive just because I could and had missed not drving for a few days. I only planned to go out for 30 mins but ended up driving for 2 hours which I enjoyed.

Would the PH Community Consider this as a hoon? (And I know Its only a 1.2 Clio but its quick enough for me at the moment)

I approve.

Dont worry about the low power - I used to love hammering my old 1.1. 106 around, as you can absolutely thrash it and still be safe.

yes bud driving for no real reason in any car is always acceptable.

i did the same, went to the local shop for my lotto came back a few hours later after finding a newly laid road which was empty and begging for my car to use alot of its potential;)

Nope. I only went to get some money out if that counts?

Depends. Did you get the tail out at any point? To me I've only hooned if I exceed the rear tyres grip at some point. That way I know I'm hooning rather than just going somewhere quickly. smile

If you go out with no real intention or destination and drive spiritedly, then its a hoon. I love taking the Alfa for a hoon on a night, when the roads are quiet. Its a great way to wind down after a long day at work.

You don't need any experience to get the tail out! Just find an empty corner with lots of flat run off room, enter the corner too fast and then lift-off. biggrin
