Bigger wire wheels...again and spacing on the front
Discussion
I note that on my Griff 200 the centre-line of the king pin when extended to the floor suggests that the centre of the standard wire wheels is about an inch too far out i.e. they should have about an inch extra inset to centre the contact patch over the centre-line of the king pin "line".
Has anyone experimented with front wheels with more inset? I think I could go about 1/2" more outset and quite a lot more inset but I'm interested as to whether I should be trying to centre the contact patch or not.
I can't find any standard wire wheels with more inset so maybe there's a limitation there?
Any thoughts and experience based comments would be welcomed.
Cheers,
Neil
