Hub cost ?

Hi guys my car is in for a service in next couple of weeks and i know that i have a little bit of play in my right hand track rod end.My mechanic knows about this but he said that petentially i may need to have a new hub.im hoping that its a straight forward replacement track rod end but if not and i need a new hub what sort of cost am i looking at?

U canjust replace the track Rod ends. Did mine last year. Took 5 minutes to fit.

Yeah James hopefully the play is just coming from the track rod and not the hub itself as i feel it could be pricey to replace mate

Not having had my noble very long and not having looked, but can't you just change the bearings in the hub?

i never thought of that idea swampy that makes a lot more sense to do if there is play in it

Simon as they're a Ford part can they be interchanged with a 5 stud Ford part to give more wheel choices?

Deffo fits the back as I had a new bearing / hub a few weeks back.

If you need a new hub because the bearing has come loose and worn the ally you could consider a metal sleeve and a new bearing.

It may be possible to bore out the hub and fit a bigger bearing ;-)

I got mine off ebay for £60 for both the bearing and hub.

Checked the run-out after fitment and was spot on, may as well fit new TBH.

Chris did you have to replace your hub and bearing in the end as wondered if its an easy job? i've got to replace the stub axle aswell as bolt damaged.
I recognize the car did you come out with us the a few weeks back after goodwood?
