Plug is in the passenger side pod.

All I've done with mine is fit a cigar lighter type socket on the passenger side equivalent to where the ignition switch would be.
To charge I just plug in and close the door. There is no seal on the bottom edge of the door so the wire runs out under the door.

I wonder why there is no seal on the bottom of the door. On a very wet day at Silverstone just before Christmas there was a fair amount of water ingress from the bottom of the door.
Do others see a need to fit a seal although I will try not to use the car in such awful conditions in future.

The missing seal allows air to escape and create a flow through the cabin.

I have only had one trip in torrential rain were some water came in but only the one trip.

I will be reconnecting the heater and aircon and removing the helicopter vents during my refurb so it is just as well there is a ventilation outlet.

These car's are not much fun in very wet conditions. They handle well but the water ingress makes life unpleasant.
