Most people find you have to experiment to find the optimum but it's something like 26 front, 24 rear as a starting point.

Remember: 87.3% of statistics are made up on the spot.

scratchchin Or is it 91.8%...?

FWIW IIRC the TASMIN 350i name ended in 1984. Certainly nowhere near 1990.

I prefer 20F 22R on a 350i with 205 rubber all round.

Standard Quickfit one pressure fits all IIRC.

Ow much ??? yikes

24 X 24 is easy to remember, and not far off.

A lot of the older Alloys tend to leak though, so I always checked my tyres every few days.

They are 195/50/vr14 tyres..I have had it at 28f and 29r but the steering was quite heavy..What should they be then...and i have PAS

Tyres on my 280 were 205/60 x 14 (as fitted by factory).

Handbook says 22f and 24r...same as on all the Wedges, but no PAS on it, so HEAVY steering. I used to put 24 in the fronts to lighten it up SLIGHTLY.

My V8 cars all had PAS, and again I put 24 all round.

Sometimes the make of tyre can alter the feel of the steering of course.

I reckon you should have 205/60s on yours. Looks beefier anyway. smile

Thanks mate..Ill lower the pressure..dont want to wear out the middles..205s will look better..will have a look at some..I have been holding off on tyres as my rims need a refurb as they leak a little..Had a quote for £50 per wheel which aint too bad..looking at your bonnet vents make me think i should paint mine black instead of gold..The badge is gold on mine and thats the only reason why i was contemplating it..cheers..Zig

Black vents will help the TVR badge to stand out. I'm not surprised that your steering is heavy with 195/50s - that's a very small diameter.
