The Men Who Stare at Goats

BBC2 now if anyone is bored, not a bad way to waste 90 mins.

[EDLT]

I can't help laughing every time he says Jedi, I was watching Star Wars Episode 1 yesterday.

[slipstream 1985]

I thought it was pants.

[XJSJohn]

That was the only real joke tho, that and Clooney staring ata goat.

Ligth enough entertainment lost it completly in the last 20min.

Available on iPlayer.

Book is great!

[Halb]

Plussed this, the documentary (and book) it was based on is worth a watch. Jon Ronson makes some very watchable stuff.

[Somewhatfoolish]

The book is better than the film... very intereting book, not terribly related to film actually....

[Gillet]

I'd seen it before so thought I'd stay up to see if it was as good as I remembered and I wasn't disappointed, maybe it appeals to "my kind of humour" but I thought it was very great.

Will have to check out the book and documentary, I know the same humour won't be there, but I'm interested in the real story now.

Entertaining, if slightly odd movie.

Worth watching for the moment when Ewan McGreggor turns to Clooney and says, 'so do you think I have some Jedi in me?'

I thought it was funny

Jon Ronson is great, I must get round to reading his book.

O/T the interview he did with the ICP was inspired [urlhttp://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2010/oct/09/insane-clown-posse-christians-god [/url]

I was at an event shortly after the interview where he rapped "Miracles" by the ICP with Tim Minchin acting as beat box. The funniest moment of 2010

I sat and watched it last night and really enjoyed it. Lots of subtle little nods and in-jokes going on and you could tell everyone really enjoyed themselves whilst making it.

I finally watched this the other night too, thoroughly enjoyed it, plenty of dry humour for me.

Very much in the same mould as Burn After Reading which I also liked.

[Halb]

Watched this, thought it was a good film, pieced bits of the doc I remember together quite well. I really liked the end.

[jains15]

Watched it last night, has a lot of my favourite actors in it.

Fell asleep halfway through. Woke up 20 minutes later, played Angry Birds 'till the end.

[Negative Creep]

It's a film that by all accounts I should like but I just found it boring. It wasn't funny and there was no real ending, it just stopped

[Daniel1]

I really enjoyed it. Its totally bizarre and i happened to be in a bizarre mood. Ive only watched it once though and have no real longing to see it again.

[Laurel Green]

Tried to watch it this afternoon - turned it off after fifteen minutes or so.
