Wedding in Mauritius
Discussion
Looking to get married later in the year and decided on Mauritius as a place to go and just do it rather than hassles of planning and paying for a wedding here. Looking for suggestions on best hotels and where to go and when. Told the top of the island gets the best weather, we were looking at August or September but told it might not be the ideal time to go?
Can’t afford the royal Palm http://www.royalpalm-hotel.com/[url] but was sugge... by the travel agent which was going to be about £6k for a wedding package and 2 weeks all inclusive. Anyone been and have any recommendations.

I've been to Paradise Cove and it's quite affordable while being a 5 star hotel. It's almost exclusively geared for couples too and I know it does weddings. However, I have to say it's not quite as good as other hotels and I know of people who have complained about their service (I personally enjoyed it). Another thing is that it is not very close to the beach, which can be an annoyance and it doesn't have its own private beach like some hotels do. Still, if you are on a budget, it's one of the best selections.
