HELP!!!!! locked out remote wont unlock my sag

hi guys took the sag out for a drive yesterday came home parked it in the garage left the car unlocked went to get in it today and the car is now locked and wont unlock on the remote could someone please help how do i get in to it i know its not good to put the way in on a post so my email address is [e-mail] thanks in advance cheers sean

Are you sure the remote is working properly ? The button on mine failed and I had to take the key apart to reconstruct it. Small plastic lug had snapped off internally so when you pressed the external button it was not activating correctly.

Battery ? Seems unlikely that it would be flat if you only drove it yesterday, but is it where you can plug it in to the accumate ?

right car battery is dead even though i did 40 miles in it yesterday i have got in the car via emergency method so now have battery on charge but why its gone flat is a mystery nothing was left on that i can see the only thing was i used the sat nav yesterday which i disconnected and removed when i parked her up last night but i left the cig lighter out but cant see that would matter any suggestions on what i could have left on would be good cheers sean

Yes, try that: to clarify when engine not running before you try to start it.

If not ; likely 100amp fuse blown

hi i took the air box of and the fuse has been uprated to the 125 amp fuse how do i know if that fuse is okay also do you mean check the alternator to see if it is warm when the engine is cold before start up?is it supposed to be warm/hot?

See if its warm before start up and when its been stood a while. If it is the coil pack has failed in the alternator which lets power feed back from the battery, alternator gets warm and drains it!

Does the dash show its charging? If it doesn't check the fuse. Do you have a tester or a 12v bulb in a holder?

thanks lee the dash is showing the volts at 11.7 is that about right?
