Seiko bracelet problem
Discussion
Having bought a Seiko diver - following a perusal on here - I attempted to adjust the bracelet. Infuriatingly, there was no mention in the instructions that it came with that this would an extremely bad idea, as Seiko use these fiddly little collars to hold the pins in, and they're extremely difficult to get hold of.
To cut a long story short, either I've lost them, or they were never fitted, as I adjusted the strap on an clean empty desk, and seem to have lost about 8 of the buggers. My local jewellers can't help, and suggest that I need to send it back to Seiko, which seems madness; you should be able to adjust a bracelet without having to resort to a dealer surely?
Anyway, any suggestions on where I can acquire some of these Hen's teeth to rectify my idiocy. I love the watch, but it's been sat on my desk for a month because I can't wear it.

I would love to help and have a box full of bits, but I have no idea what you are talking about. To cut a long story short, either I've lost them, or they were never fitted, as I adjusted the strap on an clean empty desk, and seem to have lost about 8 of the buggers. Where you pushing pins out of a bracelet link, or taking out a spring bar ?
Did the bracelet have 'L' shaped push links with an arrow on the back ?
Did the pin you pushed out look like a thin split pin ?
One of my Breitlings has a push pin to take out a link and inside the link there are two barrels/tubes that act like a bearing, is it these two barrel/tubes you have lost.
A picture may help to ID the parts.
Here's a link that describes it better - with pictures. It appears that I've lost (or they weren't fitted as I doubt I could lose so many) the pink bit: "The Collar"
The watch in question is one of these http://www.creationwatches.com/products/seiko-dive...
What I'm after is somewhere that sells them really, because I'm bound to resize the bracelet at some point anyway.

Are you certain they aren't still in the bracelet links? The reason I ask is because that's what happened when I was resizing a Seiko bracelet recently. You have to push the pins from one end and the collars from the other quite hard so they fit into each other, otherwise the pins just press against the collars but don't actually push in and fall out even when the collars are still in. It's a terrible design...
Cousins will probably have them in stock. Try http://www.cousinsuk.com/catalog/4/4/205.aspx
