Old style Driving Licence -OK?

Would there be any problems regarding my old paper licence, should I require to produce it traveling down this year? (sorry newbie question)

I have an old style paper licence. I've been stopped twice in France over the years. Never had a problem with the licence at all.

By the way, you need to take the V5C, MoT certificate if relevant, and your certificate of insurance, and if the car is not yours (eg it's a company car) you'll need proof that the owner has given you permission to take the car to France.

Paul, hang onto the old style licence for as long as poss if I were you. Had it nicked last year and cost to replace, then had to make a change on it, paid for that, then the photo was out of date, had to pay to get it renewed. Getting my drift ? Keep it !

I got stopped for speeding in September and he wasn't interested in it just the 90 €uros

Hang on the the paper one they are valid until you reach 70 photo ones are only valid for ten years.
