As some of you may have read i recently bought a stunning, and it really is, Porsche 944 S2. The car makes me smile every time i drive it and it does look awesome (silver, not very common on these) in the flesh...i did the right thing and bought the best i could find, i'd say short of concours you'd struggle to find better.

However...for a long time i've had a hankering for Chimeara...and an increasing part of me is thinking sell the 944 and with a little bit more cash i can make it happen.

Now the insurance will be more on the Chim i guess, i pay 235 for the Porsche fully comp (i'm 26, second car, good history etc) and it will drink more jungle juice but are they stupidly fragile?

Would i be mad to make this swap?

Will i be dissapointed by the Chim? I don't expect it to be as composed as a 944 but surely the noise and "carnival on wheels" effect will counteract this....

Thoughts guys... smile

I've had both. How long have you had the Porsche. I'd say if you've had one, you need to own the other as well. They are like chicken and beef, chalk and cheese.

Both great cars and future classics. In fact keep the Porsche and buy the TVR too.
