Bit of a problem. My dishwasher waste hose has a split in it. Its a grey flexi pipe thats ribbed.
I bought a little joining piece from screwfix but it doesnt fit inside, I think its for the rubber ends that these hose come with. So now i have 2 pieces of hose that need joining. Please can someone tell me what I need to repair this.

Just buy a new hose rather than piss about repairing splits

£3 quid, it will be held on to the waste pump by either a jubilee clip or spring clip, you can also get them from your local washing machine repair place smile

Thanks, I would do that but I had a look at the back of the dishwasher, the hose disapears through a hole in the back. The back plate doesn't look like it can be removed. This leaves me with repairing the hose.

Go in from the bottom then, it will be an easy 2 minute fix, just lay the machine on its side, they are user serviceable, I know, I've fixed enough of them over the years smile

Underneath, of course. Why didn't I think of that?

Thankyou.
