Searched for related threads but couldn't find any. A lesson for all those Nigerian banks, 5 steps to a successful scam:

1 - Pretend to be subsidiary of large dealer group by giving Company registration number and name of Company Secretary.
2 - Pass media credit checks using above method to score in excess of £100ks worth of advertising on 28-day credit terms.
3 - Run National ads in the FT and Guardian offering a too-good-to-be-true car rental with large desposit.
4 - Tell customers that you have a problem processing card payments so BACS transfers only.
5 - Withdraw cash from bank, do a runner.

I'm amazed people fall for this stuff. Any company having problems processing its payments and asking, basically, for "cash in hand" = dodgy as fk.
