FFRR Drivers Seat Stopped Heating/Cooling
Discussion
It's a 07 FFRR Vogue SE. All the lights on the heat/cool switch work and the passenger seat still heats/cools as required. It's as if the power has been lost to the Driver's seat as it does nothing and worked fine a couple of days ago. I'm still under warranty but wondered if this was a common problem. I haven't checked but assumed the same fuse would be used for both front seats? Any ideas before I book it in?
Phil I have an 07 with the same problem on the drivers seat. however mine seems to be dependent on where the seat is postioned. Wife drives toasty bum. Husband drive freezes his *!£ off !! Have you found a solution / update since your last post ? Mine due in the dealers next week. Hoping a loose wire but as we both know it never is !

CMJ - Have you had yours fixed yet?Mine is turning in to a painful experience. First it's 'a software fault fixed by connecting the diagnotics/computer'. Then 'the seat problem is not coverered by the warranty' even though it's agreed that it's not a service item, it's not wear and tear, it's a fault! Then the dealer who sold the vehicle to me has to become involved for some inter-dealer bartering about who pays for the 'seat repair'. Then they return it after 2 days and the seat heater still doesn't work!!!
There were a couple of other non-wear & tear items I wanted sorting at the same time. Had to push to get one item of the completed under warranty and the jury is still out on the other item awaiting an 'engineers report'. So much for LR warranty and their dealers......so far.
Phil - back from dealers today. Not sure about seat, as dealer not been able to break it and asked me up to collect the car and in fairness neither could I. They have pulled on all the wiring looms maybe that has fixed my problem ? will report back over next couple of days. Additional work all good including a software upgrade on gearbox to stop a low speed shunt. Amazingly charged less than £100 for all the work done. So my experience is the opposite to yours but I have been where you are many times. Keep smiling. You always get there eventually. Will up date
The pain of a LR dealership contiunues!
Had a couple of issues fixed under warranty over the past month but the heated seat remains unresolved despite several visits.
But how about this for service. They pick the RR up on Thur as agreed. Call late on Thur to say the new part has not fixed the heated seat problem, can they keep it for another day. Yes, I say, but call me tomorrow (Fri) when you have an update. Arrive home last night, no RR, no call. Drove past the LR dealers today and my RR is out front, so I popped in to politely ask if its fixed. Seems they 'didn't get chance' to work on it yesterday and have 'no room in their secure compound' so have left it out front where any scrote on a Fri/Sat/Sun night can get at it! The service person who had been dealing with me happended to be at work today. He couldn't explain why I hadn't received a call yesertday or today, and was quite pleased for my RR to be stuck out front for the rest of the weekend! Unbelievably bad service. I returned half an hour later and picked it up (its only 2 miles away). They are going to pick it up again on Mon and better get it sorted or its going somewhere else.

Depressing ins't it. I remember trying to buy my first Rangie at my local dealer."Hello, I want to buy a V8 Vogue"
"Oh you don't want a V8 sir, we can't sell them, everyone wants the diesel"
"You have three sat on your forecourt..."
"As I say, we can't sell them sir"
"So I see"
>gives up and leaves<
