I'm also interested to see how you get on with the covers Tux. I'm going to let you sort out the tidiest method of fixing before I have a go this summer. I think they're still at the back of the garage, right hand side where they've not moved for 2 years.

i would be interested to see how you seal them off and prevent them misting up

i had the first prototype set and decided not to fit them because of the misting

the original look appeals to me best, has a kind of dino look to it

I'll be fitting mine soon. for the idicators and the rear bulbs they are all being changed to LED bulbs so they wont need changing smile

I have some detailing tape that i'm going to run round the outer edge and the outer edge of the covers, then once in place smear the sealant, leave for a bit and then peel off the tape to leave a nice edge. Well I hope so. lol

The problem with them misting up is caused by them being too sealed up , we sorted this on the Ultimas by drilling 2x 5mm holes to allow the area too breathe , not sure how I'm going to fit them but got a couple of ideas :-)

Sorry , been away for a few days. The lads at Jetstream had them for one of their cars.
Thanks for the interest.

Dear All,
Apologies for ignoring everyone, had problems getting logged in. Those of you who contacted me were told that I had run out of supplies of these covers but I'm delighted to report that the supplier has come up trumps so I can get more made.

I've ordered a batch of five sets of which I'm collaring one so if anyone still needs a set then contact me via pistonheads PM.

Best wishes
Paul CUndy
