Mileometer stuck pushing 50K

Just top up heading up the M5 and the mileometer started to push 50K the whole thing stopped, including the trip, speedo is fine. How easy is it to remove the speedo? And would it just bbe a case of moving the numbers on a bit?

Just be patient for a few more miles - it'll likely unstick itself and get moving again.

All sorted freed its self, only after the TVR dealer said I would have to have it repaired, which would take about 3 weeks, if I was lucky. Thanks for the help

Well hit the 100,000 mile mark week before last. Stuck on 099999 and a half, stuck again!!

And how were the last 50,000 miles? I only ask because mines about to enter this period in its life! Anything major need repairing that I should be keeping an eye on?
