I've got a Scott Sub 30 hybrid & I want to change the colour of the wheels (dont really like the white) - anyone know if I be Ok getting them powder coated?

It will be much cheaper to buy a set of new better wheels than to carefully disassemble your current wheels & pay for bead blasting & powder coating the rims + a wheel builder to reassemble them:Ta

Sell your old wheels on ebay for £40.

Think those are the wrong wheels guys, they look 26" and OP's bike is 700c according to google. But I agree, far too much hassle & expense to strip the rims out for painting - buy a new set.
Doh! Think you're right - in which case some R500s (RS10s maybe a little lightweight for typical hybrid/cumuting use) from Merlin or Ribble or handbuilt Tiagra/Mavic wheels from Ribble for not much more.Gassing Station | Pedal Powered | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
