I just took delivery of a Silver/Black 2002 Esprit V8 with 6800 miles on it. It's production number #077. I drove it up from San Diego to Los Angeles this evening. Wish me luck with the reliability.

Congrats on getting the Esprit and best of luck with it. Be sure to check for the cambelt service history and if one hasn't been done, it's probably time.

How can I check the records if none was provided in the books? Will a local dealership know about it? as far as scheduling a cambelt work do I need to call the local dealer or LCU? do I have to pay for it or is it covered?

Excuse my ignorance

Good deal!!! I can not wait to see the pictures...

Re. the cam belt. If you don't know...PLEASE change it. You can actually do this yourself on a good day off. Just be absolutly sure you turn it over by hand a couple times to be sure the "marks" really do line up...

Drive topless!!!
