I had one in my Asprey 355. It has a special mount on the side of the centre console and it has a mic hidden in the car and sound comes through the car's speakers. I very much doubt you will find the necessary Car kit to fit it as originally intended. It's portable, SIM style phone not analog. You can very occasionally pick them up on German Ebay. They are made by Hagenuk.

Well, lookie here..

Lagerlout , was that a factory fitted option or a retro fit ? I would imagine buying this set and spent a bit of money in a car phone specialist, it shouldnt be a big problem to connect it to charging while on the cradle and to a mix etc, or maybe it is a big problem. anyways, i think it would compliment nicely the 575 , the black one so thanks so much for the link, reckon so i will be getting myself one of these brick phones.... the little cavalino rampanto on it makes such a nice decorative item and its original ... very nice indeed ( bet most would disagree...LOL)

Factory fitted. I have seen a 550 brochure with is shown exactly as mine is. It was an option on 355/456 & 550. Not sure about 575. The mounting kit is what you will struggle to find. The phones I think were sold seperately and therefore didn't necessarily come part of a car phone kit. HTH.

Thanks for letting me know. I will investigate this further and post any developments. I will also have a look at the 456, 456M, 550 and 575 brochures i have at hom e, i am pretty certain indeed there is a pic of that phone with its elevated base ( in tan leather ?) on the 456M brochure, cant recall anyhting on the 550 brochure but will check later.
