Hi Mark

If the motor is going up and down like a Mexican wave, that means the motors ok it's working! It's the signal to it to make it go up and down which is faulty!

Dont worry about the headlight mate.

Let me know if you can get down friday and we can have a look and resolve the headlight.

Cheers chaps..I might just give it one more chance considering how long it was locked away for..poor old thing deserves another chance..I will carry on and try to do some more bits..Interior..Hood..Wheels..Top suspension mounts..little rust spots on chassis..wheel alignment and UJs if they need it..But if anything major happens in between..It will be 95ron and a stick of phosphorus (white ones)..Cheers..Ziga

Picked the car up..Drove it home in the pouring rain..Didnt leak which is a bonus..Couldnt see much at first as it took about 5mins to clear the windscreen..Stopped a couple of times along the way..Started ok even though you have to throttle it a little to get it going..Apparently it was the main fuel pump relay,Totally dead..While i was there i was inquiring about getting more power from the colonge but the only way was to put a turbo technics kit on which i actually saw on ebay the other day(all of it as well)but it wont fit as it needs to go on the passenger side and there is a chassis rail in the way..Shame as that would of been the cheapest way around it...Maybe the V8 is a better route to take..Cheers..Ziga
