UPVC window question
Discussion
Moved house a couple of months ago, and in the en-suite there is a small-ish UPVC window, about 800x400, side-hung with a single opener. I would like it to open in the opposite direction, due to a view it currently gives onto a neighbour's house (and window).
It's a straightforward espag lock, with a top and bottom hinge fitted to the top and bottom faces of the frame. Is it as simple as just removing the hinges, re-drilling the holes on the opposite side (carefully, I realise it will have been jigged in the factory). moving the lock plates and re-fitting? I can't see that there's more to it than that?
Thanks.
