Hello,

Been looking through the net for a model jet engine kit. I have always wanted to build one and see it working. Can anyone help?

Do you mean an actual Jet Engine...or a model one to see how it's built.

If the latter - http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000LISQL6/ref=asc_df_B...

Some goo dinfo here as well:

Saw a model Vulcan flying last year with 4 mini-jet engines that the guy had scratch-built, awesome and sounded incredible!

All you need can be found in a scrapyard; turbochargers make great jet engines.

i saw a program on one of the discovery channels a few years back about model jet aircraft and a bloke had spent nearly 20 grand or so on a F-15 that had taken about 3 years to build.
it took off perfectly then
flew around for a bit without incident but while making a nearly textbook landing the nosewheel dug into the grass and it smashed to pieces.
i felt gutted for him as he'd done a top job building it and it flew so well for its first flight
