Just wondering if anyone knows of any good BMW specialists in Leicester?

My 535d needs an inspection (don't know which one) and oil change, and possibly a new injector.

I certainly don't want to go main dealer so if anyone can recommend a good independant with a good reputation it would be very helpful!

I know of Hurst automotive who is supposed to be pretty good, but I always like to have a couple of people or more to ring around for prices.

Cheers!

Thanks, who shall I say recommended him? I have a feeling if I say the crack fox sent me he may think I'm a little strange laugh

Cripps in Market Harborough or Monza Automotive are both excellent.

I've found a bosch specialist not too far away who can refurb my injector, and it seems they know their BMW's so can do the oil change and MOT.

Is anyone familiar with County Diesels in Syston? I located them through the service locator on boschautoparts.co.uk.

Yep, have heard of them.
They have a good reputation (always preffered Butts on Frog Island myself - however they went bust years ago)
The only thing negative I have heard is that their bills can look like telephone numbers!!!

The Crack Fox said:
Used to do commercial vehicles only, not cars, not used them for a long long time though. Also, they're not listed as an MOT station so probably sub it out.

Get a price off Barry Deadman (as mentioned earlier in this thread) he knows his stuff AND does MOTs himself. smile
They do cars as I've spoken to him about my car.

Also, I did speak to Barry, but I don't fancy paying the £350 odd for the new injector plus labour for the fitting!
