My daughter has a Mercedes 190E which needs a few jobs doing.
Can anyone recommend a Merc specialist in the area around Newbury to Reading please?

Cheers, I'll give them a call! The annoying thing is it's all stuff I could do myself, if I had the time, and the space!

Another vote for Star, Ian is a top fella who's been servicing the family Mercs for about 20 years now. Can't go far wrong there.

Yes. I'll be there on Saturday in fact! biggrin

I've been using them for my 300CE. Main selling point for me is that they are open Saturday. Star Motor Services is just down the road from me and would have been my first choice but I simply cannot get to them in the week. Gordon at Smart Merc seems a decent chap and has been able to fix my car at short notice a couple of times now. Tell him I sent you; I've become rather a regular customer already whistle Had one service (including belts) and a few minor jobs done.

There is a garage in Woolhampton on the A4 that repairs and deals in older Mercs.
