....the dealers don't want my money

I have called several dealers and nobody returns calls/emails/anything.

Anyone know if Jammer is on holiday? I tried to get hold of him about getting me a Cerb but just got the answering machine......and no call back.

Is it that hard to buy a car back home nowadays?

Sh*t, not Jammer. One too many 'M's" I think Unless James is planning a sideline as a male pornstar I'll stick to Jamer.

Absolutely not knocking James by the way. There are some main dealers who I am definately not spending any money with. Not going to name names but FFS I don't think these lazy bastards have heard customer and service in the smae sentence.

Spoke to a very friendly dealer today, yesterday, can't remember now as I haven't slept for almost 58+ hours. He gave me all the info I wanted and could obviously tell I was tired so told me all the things he knew I wanted to ask.

Fortunately for me I am being kicked out of the U.S tomorrow. Oh, and they're sending me on my way with three traffic tickets and a court summons. All rightly deserved I might add due to a very bad judgement involving a lane that was actually a bicyle parking space and a red light I missed Giving me a ticket for having my U.K license is out of order though(long story).

So, from being up everynight trying to get dealers to sell me a car I will be back in Blighty on Sunday. Might just pay a visit to the useless dealers and thrash the backsides off their motors first

[sponge mode]If anyone will be around on Sunday or if there are any meets please let me know. I will be in Kensington but will be heading north to the dealers by train because I'm sure I can't drive two cars back That's the plan anyway[/sponge mode]

Back in the land of the living, been all over the place and missing mobile calls while driving TVR's on the motorway without hands free kits seem to go hand in hand.

I am on my mobile 07970 530890 all say tomorrow or try the office 01509 88 15 16 if that helps.

Picked up a Cerbera and Chimaera and dropped off a Tuscan S to Brighton.

When the sun comes out everyone wants a sportscar

Jammer sounds great to me..and yes I am always late at the East Midlands Meetings, but I always go and am always the last one in the pub too!

Benjamin

Join the queue...but thanks all the same.

Yes I do really enjoy my job. I have to say though there are times when a TVR tests my resolve...

but we always get there in the end and for me there is no better British sportscar!!

Driving one when the weather is great and the roads are clear is just a great feeling and seeing happy customers with their new TVR's this weekend makes a great job even better.

Seeing Jordan driving around Brighton today in her convertible Bentley was a great event too but for totally differnt reasons.

Now I bet you don't have that on film and I bet I know the reason why....

Mara,

Good to see you last night. That silver Cerb looked nice Going for it (with a headlight conversion first, of course )? Sorry I wasn't on top form - done a similar couple of days without sleep getting back from Africa.

Good luck with getting it bought & shipped across anyway.

Cheers,

The car was everything I expeceted and so much more. Precisely the raw, thinly disguised race car feel I wanted. I must have been the slowest every test driver for a Cerb as I didn't go above 92mph. The combination of my first time behind the wheel of a cerb, the rain and the legend that is the Cerb didn't have me brimming with confidence I must say. Best to take it easy as James did get my signiture on that liabilty form I will learn it's ways when it's bought and paid for.

After all the deliberating I finally go for a cerb over the Tuscan. But then what happens? You pull up in the bloody Tuscan and rub it in

Great to finally meet one of the TVR PHs.

It was nice to see every body at the same time, a sort of Cerbera meeting where blue Cerbera's weren't allowed that day........

The rebellion has started..

Anyway we did have a good test drive...but blimey where has all this rain come from? I won't have minded normally but I got blown away by a Saxo on the way there at the roundabout in Chesterfield.....

in fairness he paid the utlimate price on the straight...

That one by Tesco? The back end went out on mine as I pulled out of it, and Jo slid the Ka for a bit there, too.

Atlantis Halcyon is a mix colour with pearl Green, shades of blue...but if I ever saw the sky that colour then I think we would all be dead..

In fairness TVR do put it as Blue in the log book but then they put lots of strange things in their log books which have no bearing on the cars in question....but hey if it gets type approval then I am all for it

We have had some spanking 17 Inch 4.5 Alloys put onto the Atlantis Halcyon 4.2 today and having some decent tread always helps the traction

Is this a trend in the cars you sell... strange scribbled out log book entries?

Don't I know it... soon going to need some new rears for the Tuscan to go along with the fronts, too. Joolz'll be a rich man by the time I get my car all sorted at this rate!
