TVR Model Recalls
Discussion
Just found an interesting manufacturer's recall search facility on the AA website so looked up all of those that apply to TVRs. These might be useful to add to the list of 'things to check' for prospective purchasers.
Griffith & Chimaera (Possible Failure of Rear Damper):
VIN: SF011535 TO TC011267
Build Date: 23 May 1995 to 9 February 1996 (753 cars)
Details here
Cerbera & Tuscan (Possible Corrosion of Front Suspension Upright):
VIN: VARIOUS
Build Date: 16th December 1996 to 8th May 2001 (846 cars)
Details here
I have to say I knew about the Cerbera recall, but I don't remember is also applying to Tuscans.
As ever, if in doubt check with your friendly dealer.

I found out about the Recall on my Chimaera for rear Dampers. From JOOLZ at Joospeed Chesterfield. I think his exact words were... This is a bit bouncy! Booked in for a pair of adjustable AVOS on the 13th next month. Chimaera S3TAY
Just how bouncy was it before you had them replaced.
Mine has suddenly become rather sloppy and seems not to stick to the road like it used to and doesn't like staying in a straight line. Its a 1997 450 with 29k miles.
