I recently bought a used Breitling, if you use google there's a few good website although I struggling to find the best one I stumbled across

I bought mine of ebay, paid using visa through paypal and had a jeweller have a quick look at it.

They were happy it was real, but if they'd decided it was fake I'd have got visa involved to reclaim the money.

If I was buying from PH classifieds it would have to be from someone who was known on PH

Did you see the advert. Looks like it comes with all the original paperwork, boxes etc.. or am I being naive..?

Paperwork can be faked.

The Navitimers usually have the following issues :

Slide rule not lineing up.
When the date is @ 4/5 the date wheel is recessed.

Just had a quick look for you on a forum for replicas, and I can't see this model being discussed. The only fake Navi with date @ 3 is the "Breitling Navitimer World (GMT)".

I might be inclined to meet the vendor at the nearest Breitling dealer to do the deal. Just to be safe.
