many thanks to paul and mark adams at austec, after three months , 3 indies, and one main dealer paul fixed my car in under an hour at a cost of £54.00 he traced the fault to the road speed sensor under the dash (loose wire).

I must add that Austec sorted the wiring out on my Cerbera which was a bitch of a job to do and took them ages. Credit where credit is due they did a top job..
