This is a new forum for me! I sold my M5 last night, and i'll be ordering an Abarth 500 tomorrow or Saturday
Can't wait, especially for the reduced running costs!
I've posted this on the Abarthisti forum, but in case anyone is interested, i'm going to go for:
Bossa Nova White
Abarth side strips
Climate control
Black leather
10 spoke alloys
BMC air filter
Not going to go for the monza exhaust (unless I get a blinding deal!) due to the mild steel and cost, i'll most likely get a Milltek at some point in the future.
No Esseesse kit either, I'm going to order the BMC air filter from the dealer, and most likely go for a TMC box soon, assuming that is fine with the warranty.
I'm also going to go for the Koni's once they are available from Fiat, so as to get the dealer to fit them and keep the warranty too.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your A500 as much as the rest of us, it's a cracking wee car.

Need to go to an Abarth dealer, but there are a few around now.
After speaking to the dealer, that isn't true
Any VAT registered garage, as long as they use official Abarth parts.Personally I will take it to an Abarth dealer for the main service (every 18000 miles) and use the local Fiat dealer for the 9000 mile oil changes.
Car ordered today

1st March expected delivery date.
Hello,
I'm also on the Abarthisti forum.
I have:
Nero Black
Red Stripes and mirrors
10 Spoke 17" Wheels
Climate
I'm 12 months in and 20k miles done. Onto my 2nd set of fronts 1st set of rears 2nd exhaust (due to warranty claim as plating was flaking off) and i still love it.
No issues other than the exhaust and my washer jets need replacing (common fault)
Servicing can be done at any VAT reg garage, but mine was done at the York dealer SG Petch (only 20 miles away).
Also thinking about the TMC box at some point in the near future

eightseventhree, have you stayed with Pirellis or changed? Also agree great car the only thing i do not like about these is if you hit a hole or bump in the road its as if the car has no springs, crashes so bad that it slows me down.I'm also on the Abarthisti forum.

A set of Koni FSD shocks will sort that out
They are expected to be added to the SS kit at some point this year too.Im still running pirelli's, I got a very good deal on 2 tyres about 120 inc VAT fitting etc for the pair. I agree the suspension is the only thing i have against the car. Will be looking at the upgrade in 6 months (when i have some cash)
if i were to get any other tyre i would stick some toyo T1-R's
