How many jobs are out there?

Afternoon all. Doing a little research and I need to know how many jobs per year are advertised online with-in the UK, the US and globally. I suspect there are no fir, figures but anyone got any idea of some figures from a reputable source I can quote?

Have a look to see what has been put on jobserve in the last week, double it and multiply by 52 to get the total anual for the UK.

This assumes that last week was average and that half of all jobs are on there.

I have no idea how acccurate those assumptions are, but I suspect they're ok.

If you can't find what you are looking for, I would also suggest you speak to a research librarian at your local library. They can access information that is not necessarily online and is more up-to-date.
