Well, I posted back in April with immense excitement at having bought my first Landy. A 200 TDi Disco for off roading. Sadly, it has gone on eBay this evening to make funds for a garage. So, am I now hooked forever, am I destined to spend life yearning after another Landy, or has the itch been scratched?

I dunno yet, except whilst listing mine on eBay I somehow found myself looking at 90's. biggrin

I had my first one declared an uneconomical repair after only 7 weeks, that was over 2 years ago and i do still miss him. The replacement one had been through a lot with me and i will feel really sad when he eventually gets traded in.

Some people find the itch scratched with one. My itch just gets bigger as time goes on. hehe

My first was a V8 110 County in fantastic nick in 95, sold it to guy for cash and a Lightweight who took it over to Eastern Europe, I heard later it got rolled and I was gutted. Really regret selling it, although the Lightweight was mad.

Sold my 200 tdi discovery today (off road prepared). I wanted to keep it, but im only 20, and also having a megane , it gets pricey.

Plan is to sell the megane, and get another one, but in much better condition for day to day use aswell as green lanes.

Mine has been took on green lanes all over the country, pay and play centres etc so wasnt in very good condition to use everyday. Im already looking for another, but they seem to be fetching stupid money with no mot (in comparision to 6 months ago)

it took me a second to get hooked which was about 6 months ago, and now I’ve got a 1968 series 2, a lightweight series 3, and a discoverythumbup

Well,as the OP here, mine is on eBay and going ok. Had a couple of cheeky offers over weekend. Hopefully it will make some reasonable cash back.... still don't want to sell it though.

Well, it went, last night, on eBay. I'm rather happy with the price which is some consolation. Roll on an improvement in the financial situation so i can another! hehe
