Ok, so not the most manly of subjects but here goes...

I've just started hitting the gym after a few weeks off and I'm finding that I'm getting a spotty forehead again. It happened the last time I went to the gym regularly. I get properly sweaty working out and have a towel but still get little spots. I'm 29 ffs, not 15. They're not major but still irritating.

I've got some kind of manly face cream thing with bits in but it doesn't seem to be working.

Anyone else suffer?

Remedies?

Don't rub your face with your hands, i got this and figured after a while it was from touching my face/wiping my forehead. Bare in mind how dirty the bar in their gets and how many a sweaty/greasy man has used it without washing his hands after going for a number 1.

Could it not be a hormonal thing as you increase your testosterone levels?

That would be my first guess.

I have also had this in the past but not with spots but just sweat causing my face general irritation.

To be honest I wonder if diet has any part to play in this.

Could it be his diet?

I can't see how that would cause spots, so long as you wash your face properly after the lifting session it should be fine.

I'd put it down to a combination of the increase in testosterone, and possibly not getting enough vitamins.

I get this every so often, usually about an hour after i've worked out i notice red blotches etc on my forehead. Few hours later they vanish though.

I find the steam room brings me out in a few spots. I assume I'm sweating crap out, then my standard shower (ie no face scrubs) isnt cleaning it away properly.

Creating makes me spotty - not taking any of that are you?

I used to get spopts on my forehead years ago.

Took me about 2 years to realise it was becuase I was using hairspray to stop cow licks.

The hairspray would clog up the pores and the zits would ensue. I'd spent years looking like Vivien from the Young ones.

Cleared up in a week once I stopped with the spray.

What are you putting on your forehead/hair since you started at the gym?

What is the rest of your face cleansing regime?

I recently started using this. Use the cleanser and moisturiser daily, the clay and face scrub 1-2 a week. My skin has never looked so good.
