There are two petrol station near me that leave a card in the machine, if the customer doesn't ask for the points the owners/workers have them.
I bet this would add up to a similar amount over a year.

Bit off topic but "The father of two's defence team argued he had showed remorse for the crime." Nectar man should have sacked his lawyer if thats the best he could come up with.

No idea. I know you can't pay hotel bills with your National Insurance card.

Doesn't work. The Nectar system will spot immediately that all the points are being added in one retail outlet with an impossible level of spend. It's a clear breach of the conditions and trouble will follow.

A petrol station near me used to do this.
