Any lock / alarm experts?
Discussion
Colleague at work has a 5 year old Honda Jazz. It has key operated central locking. She always used the drivers door until the key wouldn't turn, she then used the passenger door for a few months until same happened and then same with boot lock.
Yes to reiterate my colleague is a woman!
Anyway she is being quoted over £120 per lock to fix. I reckon the locks still work, just not with the keys (the master key is the same).
I am thinking it may be cheaper to get an auto electrician to fit a remote control alarm that works the central locking. Thoughts from anyone as to whether this would work and approx cost?
Last time I fitted an alarm it was a Moss one with the red LED sensor that sat on the dashboard!!!
