Well after James's comments i was looking forward to seeing the Carbon bodied M600 and boy was i impressed !!! this car is a big step forward over last year prototype car and the carbon body is simply stunning the fit and finish is superb!!!! is it a 200k car .....YES !!! Spoke in length with Chris Harris (evo mag) and he compares it to the legendary Ferrari F40 and is a massive fan !! which considering the cars he has driven is a impressive statement , running in excess of 650bhp and weighing some 80kg less then the blue car performance is going to be even more impressive .
Spoke in length with Peter Boutwood and his enthusiasm and dedication to the Noble brand is very impressive , he is very much a team player and must be good to work for as he is full of praise for the Noble team that have built the M600 the same team that built the original M12 and M400 car , a nice touch is that on the stainless kick strips the Names of everyone who worked on the car is written ...great stuff !!!
After a year running the blue car some improvements have been made and generaly now it is felt the M600 is the complete package and can compete with the worlds best super cars !!
Its a Noble and has Noble dna !! and i for one are very proud to be part of the M600 birth and feel it will add value to our own cars !!!
One thing that surprised me was Peter commenting on how nice the Green looks on my own car yikes

Peter did also confirm that left hand drive cars are being shipped to the states and Uk customer cars will be delivered in Marck/April ......be great to see a M600 on the road !!

Nice - although I'd change the gear lever. And the indicator and washer stalks are from which bin..?
Hope they do make it to customers soon.

I have just heard that the above car as featured at the Autosport show will be at Peter Smith Sports Cars for a long weekend from 10th to 13th February.
I suggest that you call them if you are interested.

I just love all the carbon, not too keen on the gear stick, looks like something on an arcade game!

Changing the gear lever setup I suppose would not be a major issue as it's a bespoke hand built supercar !!! The whole point is you can spec things the way you want it !!!! Indicator stalks have a nice feel almost german like but I did not recognise them . First car delivered march / april .

I was at the show yesterday and couldn't even find the carbon M600 for love nor money, Tuxman. Where was the stand situated?!

Did Peter give any indication on the delay for the carbon bodied car as they were due to start them in 2009 initially iirc?

Certainly looks better in black than that baby blue one smile

I think the pictures look superb Simon, it's as though the car has been brought up to another level with the finished article.
It is one of the main reasons I'm dragging myself across country to the show tomorrow as well as meeting the trackday trophy guys and picking some goodies for the race car smile

I hope to get a good look at it and I will post my thoughts but that interior looks just superb and I for one quite like the gearchange....... It's individual.

the car is located on the McGard stand no 8640 ,

the reason for the delay was related to the quality of the original carbon body , there was quality issue that resulted in a new UK supplier being found , now the new bodies are in, production will proceed as normal . Tux

I thought it looked fantastic having only seen the blue one from the outside at Goodwood and wondered what was underneath, the quality is astonishing with 99% looking bespoke rather than parts bin (which is derided but is actually very practical and used the right way is very effective). You can see (unfortunately, understandably) why it is in a different league to the cars we have. There won't be any DIY/Mods/Bodges on this sort of car but I wish Noble all the best and hope they can compete with other exotica.

I mapped a 600 hp F40 a while back, it was simply amazing

been in cars with way more power but the F40 just took the extra power and was able to use it

can't wait to see the M600 tested on top gear again

(I asked peter if we could have 800 hp and a big rear wing)

Spent a bit of time looking at the car yesterday and I have changed my mind... I used to think it was expensive! Now after my closer review I actually believe it's competing with zoned and keongissegg as the quality and details are so high.
I was impressed
