Pioneer VSX-520 vs. VSX-820 AV receivers

Just looking for a bit of advice on these two receivers please!
I'm looking at the Bose Acoustimass 6 & 10 deals that include the above receivers (respectively).
Ideally I'd be happy with the Acoustimass 6 speakers, but looking at the specs of the two receivers I'd just wonder if I'd miss anything...
The 820 has one extra HDMI, "Works with iPod/iPhone" certification, and an iPod controller on the front with a 3.5mm jack.
I have an HDMI/Co-axial/optical 4-way splitter so the extra plugs aren't really required, but presumably with a phono>3.5mm jack I could run whatever device I wanted into the amp anyway (without the control admittedly).
It has bluetooth as well (although it needs an adaptor), so unless I was desperate to plug my iPhone into it then I'm unlikely to miss it anyway, aren't I?
