Brake dust shield
Discussion
I've got these fitted to the S, but I've never been able to track any down (I wanted to get a set for my wife's car as they're so good at keeping the brake dust at bay!).
I've never noticed any brake fade or other problems, even when pressing on a bit!
Obviously the impact might be different with a V8 under the bonnet.
I've never managed a track day to date, but I would remove them if I was going to do one.

Hi Glen
We've got some on our Griff and we used to have them on the Chim a few years back. They work a treat and we've had not problems with overheating etc, even on long runs (like Blackpool at the weekend!)
Naturally if we were going to do a track day we'd take them off first.
Only thing is, can't remember where we got them from! I'll give FFG a nudge as I'm sure he'll remember - surprised he hasn't posted already!
See you soon!

PS - any news on these bolts yet? I WANT MY WHEELS !!!!

Glen,
I've spoken to the accessory shop and they don't sell them anymore. The detail on the box is as follows:
Carflow Products UK Ltd, Grovebury Rd, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 8TU. Tel 01525 383543. Part No 044, bar code 5 018670 400445. They are called wheel clean discs.
We had them on the Chimaera for 12 months with no problems so suggest if you're doing track days to take them off. Not a problem yet as you haven't got any wheels to put them on. Only joking.

After some considerable time Wheelworks are delighted to have purchased the rights to the products known as wheel clean discs. The product when fitted helps stop any brake dust getting onto potentially valuable alloy wheels, therefore protecting and most importantly prolonging the life of the alloy wheel

Thanks, by coincidence I ordered a set from them this morning on a 3 week delivery!
