after being introducted to this site due to welding up a members car, I decided to join, so I might as well show you all my car smile

I purchased it as a more or less standard S-special back in july last year, I then set myself the task of building it before JAE in early september, the spec was to be as follows

Full respray in honda pirate black
Mk2.5 dash and door cards
fit uprated bbr turbo conversion (currently 175bhp)
raybrig headlights
type 2 torsen diff
6 speed gearbox
1.8 brakes
pure drive suspension
and probably more that I have forgotten

I managed to get it built just in time for JAE, and since then there have been a few other mods, one of which being a cusco half cage

anyway, enough chat, here are some pictures

older picture before the cage was fitted

and this one shows the colour really well

If Michael Knight cut hair... biggrin

Car looks awesome, like the bootlid spoiler you've got, which one is it? Not sure it would look right on a red car but I'd be rather tempted.

Looks great! nice work.
What turbo conversion did you fit? was it an easy/costly conversion?

It is a bbr turbo conversion, it was in the donnor car, as were most of the performance parts, yes it was an easy fit, the most awkward bit being changing the sump for one with an oil return, but can be done in a day.

The first splitter got destroyed by a lump of frozen snow ages ago, and I finally got around to making the replacement today, I've gone a bit more aggressive with it this time so it ties in better with the side skirts, I wasn't quite happy with the first version smile

Some quick pictures, I'll take some better ones when the weather improves

Holy thread resurrection!

I'm currently to-ing and fro-ing about buying one of these Vindi ducktails (found this thread googling for it!) but the only thing putting me off is the difficulty of blending it.

Realistically, how hard would it be for a total beginner to blend it into the bootlid? If it would be too tricky for someone who has never done any bodywork before to attempt, how much do you think it would cost for a good job at a bodyshop?

Cracking car, by the way OP. thumbup
