Heater Fan Cover
Discussion
Hi
I bet people with holes steam up!
As the only fresh air you get is via the drivers open window, past your left leg into the fan via a hole beside the clutch pedal!
Were if you had a hole in the cover in the engine bay fresh air goes strait to the fan and then you don't have misting up problems.

Ah, but the cabin warms up faster as the heater is a recirculator I bet people with holes steam up!

Besides, I suspect most wedges are now summer-only cars.Th eorignal Tasmin heater used to draw fresh air in through the bonnet vents but the bonnet rarely sealed to the heater box properly allowing road and engine bay fumes into the heater, I imagine that's why they quietly did away with the idea. Surely having the hole in the heater box recreates that same problem?
