I have approximately 4000 euros that I'd like to exchange to £ at the best rate possible.

I guess my best bet is anyone going on holiday!

If anyone was interested I'd swap at a rate which was beneficial for us both... or just the buyer if necessary biggrin

If not a personal transaction then where should I look to exchange?

Cheers

I can exchange euros for:
Sheep
Drugs
Chocolate buttons
Used, but willing sheep

Small question. Why do you have 4000 euros to exchange! ( on legal advice don't answer that question until you have paid the 4000 euro up front fee)

Sorry couldnt resist this!

I'll give you £2000 final offer!!

I just paid a bill in euros for 1500, pity this wasn't 2 weeks ago.
If the Gumbaw rally was this year then it would be easy for you.

Paul can advise on money laundering issues, but I've sold currency on eBay a few times and the FX rate had sometimes been higher than 1:1...

Woah how many sheep?? lol

I work abroad and have been keeping a kitty to buy a nice watch. Reason I didn't transfer anything back to £ is that I can't spend euros at home! smile

I thought you could spend Euros here?

I certainly know we used to accept them when i worked in M&S. Not saying you should blow it all on cushions and wky steak pies but if it's a watch you are after then speak to the company you're looking to buy from, they might just take your Euros!
