Where can I exchange a large amount of Euros at a good rate?

I have approximately 4000 euros that I'd like to exchange to £ at the best rate possible.

I guess my best bet is anyone going on holiday!

If anyone was interested I'd swap at a rate which was beneficial for us both... or just the buyer if necessary

If not a personal transaction then where should I look to exchange?

I work abroad and have been keeping a kitty to buy a nice watch. Reason I didn't transfer anything back to £ is that I can't spend euros at home!

I certainly know we used to accept them when i worked in M&S. Not saying you should blow it all on cushions and wky steak pies but if it's a watch you are after then speak to the company you're looking to buy from, they might just take your Euros!
