I need to have a car on cover for around 2 months while I carry out some repairs and general maintenance tasks on my main vehicle.

Can anyone recommend me a good company who will do this.

Current insurer will only cover 28 days and want quite a bit more ££ than I was expecting. £83(£25 admin) for 28 days!! on a 1.3 micra

TIA

Might work to take out a new policy, then cancel it after 2 months. Just find an insurer who doesnt charge massive cancellations fees.

As above.
Or, if the car is insured and you're insured full comp?
Or, ask to be put on the policy by the car owner?

Had temporary cover in the past; only for a few weeks at a time - never needed 2-months, so unsure how that game is played.

eCar do a pay as you go policy but for me it was a rip off and if you have a problem they have no call centre, only an email system which takes aeons.
