Suggestions please:
Need a good restaurant, first choice indian, but anything else is ok (except french and mexican).
Needs to be within 30 min (less is better) drive of Hornchurch.
Must have own parking (as I will be taking an elderly/disabled passenger).
Must not have stairs.

Where have you been that fits the bill?

Had a meal there a month or so back. Service was friendly and food was excellent. It has a car park and is about 20-30 mins drive from Hornchurch.

Can't remember if it has steps or not but the Boatyard in Leigh-On-Sea is cracking.

The Boatyard is excellent. IIRC the there are no steps to the main entry and a selection of tables on the ground floor too.

Another one not open on Sunday evening, but another good suggestion.

Think I might have to change to lunchtime.

I've been to all of these and recommend them:

Kanchans - Gannts Hill. General Indian, more punjabi style
http://www.kanchansgroup.com/

Chennai Dosa - Ilford, South Indian
http://www.chennaidosa.com/

Masala 910 - Pub with Indian restaurant (separate from pub area though)
http://www.restaurant-guide.com/masala-910.htm

For a good Indian, these areas are the best as it's where the "locals" eat.

Any of those have parking as that is important? (knowing years ago how bad Gants Hill was for parking)

Yes,

- Masala 910, as I mentioned, is in the restaurant of a pub, so plenty of parking.
- Kanchans (my preference) has limited parking, however you could drop off at the front and then park the car after?
- Chennai Dosa, only street parking, and cant guarantee there will be a space, but again, drop at front, then park car.

Just a thought. If not, I have plenty more suggestions!
