Help please! Loose hub cap

Dear all,

just finished washing the beast in anticipation fro a lovely run in the sun and i noticed a rear wheel hub cap is loose - it can easily be pulled off and on again, and i just know if i go out for a drive i will loose it. How do you secure these things? Can you use glue?

take it off, give a good clean, check the grooves are not broken, and then wedge it back in...

Stick it back in with silicone sealant - works a treat!

That might add more weight on spin, so wheels might need to get re-balanced... I think?

silicone isn't heavy enough to adjust the weight I wouldn't have thought.

Cable ties, although I don't know what your specific wheel is...

I noti a similar problem recently, and I just bent the hub cap slightly. They all fit snugly now!
