Has anyone had any direct experience of both BA premium economy and Emirates economy on the A380? Both are about the same price, so which one is best?

Not a direct comparison but I flew BA prem economy to Singapore last year, it was ok but not the best (although way better than cattle).
On a subsequent trip I flew Economy on a Singapore A380 and it was much better than the BA flight.

This mostly depends on whether you can choose a good seat on the Emirates flight smile I'd probably take that over using BA though.

Friend of mine flew on the Emirates A380 in economy and loved it, said the seats were really big and comfy.

I fly to Aus every 6 weeks or so & generally book BA P/E, but always aim to be routed on Qantas metal. BA P/E is OK, but the food is still pretty st & the TV screen / movie choice / Seat is nowhere near as good as Qantas. In summary Qantas P/E beats BA P/E hands down.

However, you were talking about Emirates! Emirates economy is good & on the A380, is very good. The food is pretty good, the entertainment is much, much better than BA & the seats are pretty decent.

If you can't get a BA code share on Qantas metal, then I would go with Emirates E over BA P/E.

If all that makes sense!
