Anyone seen this?

Have had a number of conflicting reports some saying it is the most brilliantly shot, emotionally moving film ever made, others saying it's the sickest and most depraved and one to be avoided.

Will be making my own mind up this weekend but just thought I'd gather some wider thoughts first!

I think the UK version has been heavily edited.
I don't really care how well shot the film is - there is nothing about it that suggests any credibility, and the excuse for its existence is so ridiculously tenuous that any discussion on its merits is pointless

yes

Yes, I have seen it. As I have said many times, think of it as a cross between 8mm and A Clockwork Orange.

Shocking for the sake of in places. And the ending is just stupid.

yes Created for controversies sake.

The production meeting probably went something like "I've got an idea for a film, it's a st idea but I'm going to make it so controversial that it'll generate it's own publicity and snowball"

I've heard/read a lot of totally consistent reports - sick disturbing nonsense.
