Odiham and Colerne TD?

Does anyone know if there are track days at either Odiham or Colerne this year, they don't seem to be in any of the common organisers dates yet?

The MoD have stoppped all motorsport activity at Colerne. Odiham may have one or two in the summer but they will be most likely low key affairs. Best bet is to contact the RAFMSA for more info.

i believe Odiham was called off this year due to some not so great driving there in 2010

that's a shame, Colerne was a good track (in the dry at least) and always wanted to try Odiham. I guess not this year.

Odiham has gone? Great shame - I was there the day, and didn't see any particually bad driving, but did see the results of some.

I think Fluff/SRI (or something close to that username) posted on here the reasons why Odiham aren't doing track days currently. He also posted a link to the Odiham Car Club on Facebook that will talk about any events that will go on. I've joined the Facebook group and there is nothing posted about this yet but I believe in short that the guys are trying to convince the head guy at RAF Odiham to allow track days to happen but they take control of it all. They are looking to start with bike track days first as they've never had a problem with these and then try and go for a car one if possible.

If they do a bike one there then I might attend it as it will be interesting to see how the experience on that track differs between car/bike.
