I have lost my pattern to the rear lifting pocket ..the car I am working on had a Taimar carpet rear floor version and I'm trying to put this back to original...my trimmer understand how this is built but I need to supply the size of the panel. TIA

Adrian, do you mean the melamine panel that covers the compartment between the transverse chassis tubes?

Hi, No, the carpet panel across the floor only on a 75-76 M.
Thanks.

I have an early 75 1600M - are you refering to the carpet covered panel in the rear floor - covers a shallow tool / storage well.

If this is the bit, then the panel is 62cm x 46cm and there is an additional 50mm carpet 'tail' which acts a hinge.

Hi David,
Brilliant...I can make this carpet set now....from memory the tail is part of the underside of the panel and is tap-it'ed to the floor beyond the storage well.

Yes,
The tail comes off the underside of the panel and slips under the rear carpet - I guess it should be secured / taped in place.
If your making one I would think of fitting some form of catch to hold the front end down to stop it drumming up and down and under heavy braking (obviously not me!)items in the storage well can slide / roll forward and push their way out of the front.
