Interesting to see how this project has turned out; I have been watching it take shape (in an "underneath the arches"-type workshop in Newcastle) off and on, over the past eighteen months. At no time was there any suggestion that it was going to be painted and trimmed so garishly. The guy who has done this conversion is a stoical, well-meaning sort of bloke who I believe, has been operating as per instruction for the owner. The snags, frustrations, compromises and "back to the drawing board" moments have been many and varied.
All that said (ie. a TVR deco scheme - garish?), I could, if push came to shove, get to live with, if not love, the vehicle, were it not for the disastrous bonnet scoop, which is true sacrilege - as well as not square. Of course it's there to cover the innards, which duly begs the question: how can it have been worth it?
Tim.

presumably you are not referring to the 'bag on head' but the 'coffin on bonnet' aspect...?!

OK...........so not very subtle I will grant you that.

But it is his car, no one elses.

Though possibly now wishing it was not his car, but someone elses and that is why it is for sale.
I can see why HE thinks £28,000.00 but with the best will in the world I would have thought around £12,000.00. Then you would have a sporting chance of putting it right and get in at about £17,000.00.
But even then at £17,000.00 you can get a fully sorted standard Tuscan Speed Six which is a cracking car.

Having said all that. I would like to know a lot more about this build and why it took place if anyone knows the details.

Regards.
Speed eight.

Makes me feel a bit sad.....

Want to take it home with me, chop all those bits off, standardise it a bit and make the car smile again.
