All the tie-rods are the same regardless of rack.

The Hubs are GRANADA 72-85, but the rest is Cortina / TVR
Doing search though and it look like they are the same though

Cool thanks guys, i'm after an inner tie rod so looks like an entire rack as nobody seems to sell inners for anything over 20 years old anymore!

I've got an old manual rack you can have. I'll just go and take a few snaps. Think it came off a 350i. Might be the same. thumbup

I don't think that that's right L. Seem to remember that there are a couple of other car's parts in there: part Capri and maybe a Triumph bit. Manual rack is a Cortina.

Hubs are Granada MK 2, wishbones Cortina Mk 4/5 Crossmember TVR Steering Rack Cortina MK 4/5

The best explanation is in Steve Heath's Wedges Bible

I think JR might be thinking of the steering column....which I believe on Wedges was a 'bitsa'.

Here's the sort of Cortina front subframe that most of the bits were taken from, apart from the brake calipers and the 5 stud Granada hubs (4 on the Corty)...viewed from the back.

I once stripped and re-built one in my kitchen....cos it was cold outside. biggrin
