Only because of this type of shiet and the amount of usless c4ap being posted on the south coast forum.

Embarrassing.

Fair enough, why even start a pointless thread like this. I think Scott should find a mirror and have a strong word with himself.

Jim,

just been looking at your photos and reading your profile.

How is the Mondeo? Ive recently made the move to the black pump too. Not especially thrilling but it will do. Those Mondeo's have terrific chassis I hear? If the MK1 focus was a good bench mark it must be a few leaps on?

Seems you have a well specced car - those cant be that common.

Dont know, evening away from special school?

Its either waste time on Pistonheads or masturbation.

I know which I would rather do.

Yeah very pleased with the car actually, not had it long and being an 'enthusiast' it was hard to make the move over. Its more a case that it fits my current situation rather than a car bought with the heart. One day I will return to the fold and get myself something a little more 'focused'. Excuse the pun.

Hows the 535d going. Whats the BHP on those? supposed to be pretty rapid for a big car I hear.

When I get bored of the Mondeo I may well follow in Scotts footsteps and try and give it away on here. I may even start a thread with lots of txt speak and very little or no detail and see if I get a bite. The more uneducated you come across, the more likely you are to get interest I hear.

Precicely my scenario. The M5 had to go but I wasnt willing to ride around in a Honda Accord for more than a week. That car went to London to a lovely chap from East Ham. I believe it is currently riding around on 21 inch spinners and with a family of 7 as we speak.

The 535 is a good car (just like being at work) but has a few niggly issues that affect the range. Im a BMW man (basically lane 3 arrogance and a constant desire to overtake - the rumours are true) so can stomach them.

Briefly they are,

Diesel swirl flaps (had them taken out)
Water ingress to boot/ECU (like your mondeo)
Self levelling rear suspension failure
Run flat tyres (awful)

There are of course a few other minor ones that just need periodic attention.

They are 272bhp standard. Probably going to get rear tints next.

These would really suit your grey Mondeo?

I do hate the odd common faults as you have mentioned. They are rather tedious.

Tints would look good on the Mondeo I agree. I see you are local, maybe we could organise a credit crunch deal. I feel I could do with a wheel refurb as well.

Anyway, back on topic, n e 1 interested in Scotts 52 plater, he needs sumin faster lol. Im sure its well cared for and never driven hard. I have to say Scott, for a 4th post that was pretty outstanding. I suggest you go away quitely and change your username and come back with something a little more constructive to add to this forum.
